Galician tours
Most visitors to Galicia choose to hire a car during their visit, however for some people this may not be possible or practical. When this is the case, one way to experience the best of what Galicia has to offer is to go on a guided tour.
What is available
You have two guided tour options.
- The first is a tour around a particular monument or even a city and this may take anything from a couple of hours to a full day.
- The second is a more extensive tour that lasts two or more days and which typically has a theme. This theme may be heritage based, centred around a collection of towns or monuments, or even focussed on something like the region's wine making and bodegas.
Finding a suitable tour company is not always easy, but there are some and additionally the local tourism offices may be able to offer guides for certain attractions like museums or the monumental district of a historic town.
